Production Notes: November 4 The opening night show as shot in standard video format with "wild" audio (i.e. on-baord mics in the audience). Shots are generally "wide" presenting the entirity of the stage except in cases where fewer dancers are followed by the camera. November 5 This show was filmed in a letterbox format (better matching the stage dimensions) and using a 24P frame rate to better approximate the look of film. All future shows will be shot in this format. Audio is "wild" (microphones in the audience). Future shows: Audio will be a mix of audience and a feed directly from the sound board for a richer, cleaner sound. November 10 Patrons crossed in front of camera during Chicago Ballet "Revolution." November 11 Baby crying on channel 2 audio during Thodos Dance Chicago "Enchanted." Patrons crossed in front of camera during curtain call for Academy of Dance Arts "Marche Militaire." November 12 Due to low light during Elements Contemporary Ballet "CRAWL," we tried to compromise between wide shots and closer shots to deliver some amount of detail. Likewise during Inaside Chicago Dance "Unfolding Belief." Patrons crossed in front of camera within first two minutes of "Unfolding Belief." IMPORTANT November 28 "Dance Slam" We experienced power loss twice last night (due most likely to faulty wiring at the theatre). The two performances affected were #10 (Nonstop 2006 Dance Mix) and #12 (Can't Stop). About 4 seconds of performance for each were lost.
